Driving home early one morning from Sydney I chased this rainbow the whole way down the freeway, all the way along the coast road and caught the end of it at the (then) newly formed Austi superbank. It was the most vivid rainbow I had ever seen and it just hung directly in my line of vision for over half an hour. I've never seen anything like it. Of course, by the time I arrived in Austi, pulled out my camera and ran up the hill it had finally started to fade, but it was left well imprinted in my memory.
